Biography

Allison Colton (Ally), a Belmont, MA native, joined the firm in 2021 after being admitted to the Massachusetts Bar and completing a post-graduate internship at the Conservation Law Foundation. An Iowa State University alum, Ally returned to Massachusetts to attend law school and pursue a career in land use and environmental and energy law. During her time at Suffolk University Law School, Ally clerked for the Hon. Robert B. Foster at the Massachusetts Land Court as well as for the Hon. Michael J. Pomarole and Hon. Paul J. McCallum at the Dedham District Court. She also worked for the Division of Administrative Law Appeals, the National Consumer Law Center, and the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection. Ally's note analyzing the regulation of smart utility meter data protection was published by the Suffolk University Journal of High Technology Law where she served as a Content Editor.

Outside of work, Ally can be found training for the Boston Marathon, reading mystery books, and cheering on the Red Sox at Fenway Park with her dad.
